1. Read the attached file "1. 2025 GKS-U Application Guideline.pdf" first.
2. Read the attached file "2. 2025 GKS-U Overview of University(Korea Maritime & Ocean Univ.).pdf", and decide whether you will apply to KMOU.
3. If you decide to apply to KMOU, search for your major in the attached file "3. 2025 GKS-U University Available Departments(Korea Maritime & Ocean Univ.).xlsx" and select your major from the list.
4. Fill out the Application Form "4. 2025 GKS-U Application Forms.docx", and submit required documents to the Office of International Affairs, KMOU.
5. Those who apply to the College of Maritime Sciences must also submit a certificate of medical examination referring to the 'Medical Assessment Standards for College of Maritime Sciences Applicants'
1) The examination must be conducted at a medical institution of general hospital level or higher, or at a specialized medical institution registered with the local Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. 2) The seafarer’s health examination must include a special health assessment.
3) All examination items must be recorded in full, along with a declaration from an accredited specialist.
4) The physician's name and signature must be included in the designated area for the examining doctor.
5) The name of the issuing medical institution must be recorded, and the institution must affix its seal.
6) The health certificate is valid only if the health examination was conducted and issued within three months prior to the submission date.
7) Health certificates issued by foreign hospitals are only recognized if notarized according to the above requirements.
